Contractors announced for Sunshine and Gold Coast Recreation Precinct upgrades
Local communities and visitors are set to benefit from upgrades at our two most popular recreation precincts.
As part of a three-year targeted capital works programs aimed at boosting activation, we are investing in upgrades across five of our Sport and Recreation venues, with significant works planned for the Tallebudgera and Currimundi precincts.
At the Gold Coast Recreation Precinct (Tallebudgera) upgrades will be undertaken by FK Gardner & Sons Pty Ltd (FKG). They have already commenced site establishment in readiness for demolition works to commence in April.
The Sunshine Coast Recreation Precinct (Currimundi) will also undergo extensive improvements with I.C.M Construction (QLD) Pty Ltd delivering these works from April.
Construction completion is planned for December 2025.
