New SwimStart vouchers a splash hit
More young Queenslanders are diving into swimming lessons with a new round of SwimStart vouchers.
Now in its third round, the SwimStart program helps eligible Queensland families cover the cost of swimming lessons.
The program aims to give children a confident and safe start in the water by improving the water safety of Queenslanders aged up to four years old.
With swimming still one of Queensland’s biggest sports amongst children, swimming lessons from an early age can help buoy kid’s love of the sport in a safe environment.
Eligible families can apply for SwimStart vouchers valued at up to $150 to go towards swimming lessons.
The third round of SwimStart vouchers are available from 28 July 2025.
Parents and carers have until 19 June 2026 to redeem their vouchers.
