The Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games will deliver benefits that extend well beyond the competition venues. The impacts will be realised across Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and the wider Oceania region.

What is the Legacy Strategy?

The Brisbane 2032 Legacy Strategy is a commitment from all Games Delivery Partners to ensure the Games drive meaningful, long-term benefits.

This strategy keeps our focus on creating positive change in four key areas:

• health and wellbeing
• connectivity
• environment
• economy.

Next steps

Elevate 2042 will be a living document designed to evolve as the region grows and changes. Recognising that current priorities may shift and new challenges or opportunities may arise, the next stage focuses on progressing the vision through comprehensive implementation planning, ensuring the effective delivery of legacy initiatives.
