About the program

Queensland is gearing up for a sporting revolution with the Games On! Program set to enhance community sporting clubs across the state as part of the 2032 Delivery Plan.

By investing in grassroots sport, we’re ensuring a lasting legacy beyond the Games, providing better facilities and more opportunities for athletes of all levels.

Games On! will provide an additional $250 million for grassroots sporting clubs. This funding will support upgrades to:

• fields and pitches

• courts and clubhouses

• essential community sporting infrastructure.

Games On! is an investment in Queensland’s communities across our state, ensuring local sporting clubs continue to thrive. By upgrading facilities, the program will create better training environments for aspiring athletes and more opportunities for people of all ages to stay active and engaged in sport.
